2011 Yearbook Staff
You should be soliciting business ads this summer. The yearbook will be all color this year and the ads that we get are vital to keeping the price low for students. This is your first assignment - and meeting assignments and deadlines matter in this class.

Big News For 2011
Every year we take thousands of digital photographs. Back in the day when we had regular photos, we would hold a photo sale at the end of the school year. Now we can do this digitally! This is the first year we are trying this so we will see how it goes. All the money raised goes into the yearbook account – to lower the cost of yearbooks for students (not this year – but maybe next). You need a password to get in to see the photos and it was mailed home – for security purposes it will not be posted online.
We are in the process of setting up the Website – Albums will be added as the year progresses. Check it out mid-September:
All photos are taken in public access venues and could be used by the school in publications and press releases. If, for some reason, there is a photo of your child that you want removed from these sites, please email Lisa Harris (Yearbook Advisor) at lharris@winnacunnet.org immediately with the location of the photo. If you do not want any photos of your child available, please contact the school. This includes team and club photos.

Senior Sketch
I hear that some of you don't know what a "senior sketch" is. Fair enough. Your senior sketch is text that is under your photo - it lists your achievements and memories. You have 255 characters of space to use, including punctuation and spaces. This needs to be school appropriate. No references to drugs, alcohol, tobacco, sex, hate or other inappropriate topics allowed. Needs to be in English - or have an translation included. No quotes are allowed. Seniors usually list their academic honors, activity & athletic involvement, give shout outs to friends, and of course thank mom, dad and the fam. We won't publish a sketch without a photo.
